The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing at Walgreens, 1 S. Kingshighway.
• Suspects were in custody pending formal charges of burglary at RD Rentals, 1215 S. Kingshighway.

Summonses

• Frank J. Allen IV, 32, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance at Park Drive and North Fountain Street.
• Reggie E. Kindle, 34, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance at Park Drive and North Fountain Street.

Assaults

• Assault and theft of a credit card were reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 1565 N. Kingshighway.
• Theft was reported at 1536 Big Bend Road.
• Theft was reported at 1624 Scott St.
• Theft was reported at 1418 N. Spanish St.
• Shoplifting was reported at Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

• Forgery was reported.
• A 38-year-old woman was taken into protective custody at 45 S. West End Blvd.
