MUNFORD, Tenn. — Pamela Lynn Craft, 48, of Munford, formerly of Cape Girardeau, entered this world in the arms of her loving parents June 28, 1969, and passed away June 28, 2017, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, in the arms of her loving parents.

She was born Saturday, June 28, 1969, in Cape Girardeau to Raymond and Betty Mosley Craft.

Pam was a 1987 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She then went on to the University of Memphis to earn her master’s in science, leadership and policy studies.

Pam taught for 11 years in the Memphis City Public Schools and for the last 14 years at Drummonds Elementary School in Drummonds, Tennessee, where she was an instructional facilitator the last two years.

Pam was an avid reader, enjoyed movies and playing softball in her younger years.

She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her parents of Cape Girardeau; brother, Gregory (Amanda) Craft of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Jeretta (Stephen) Schaefer of Charlotte, North Carolina; two nieces, Anneliese Schaefer and Isabelle Craft; and a nephew, Vincent Craft.

Although Pam had no children of her own, she loved her students as is if they were her own.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Glenn Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Church Cemetery in Pocahontas.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
