Barbara Nichols

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Barbara Nichols, 58, of Fredericktown died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the home of her daughter in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 9, 1959, in St. Louis to John and Ruby Fisher French. She married Jeffrey Nichols on Aug. 12, 2006. He survives.

Along with her husband, Barbara is survived by a daughter, Misty (Daniel) Coonts, and a son, Bobby Harper, both of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, Atticus, Janssen and Gavin; her mother, Ruby French; three sisters, Betty Goins, Marilyn Green and Dorothy Lowery; a brother, Jim French; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and an infant brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service for Barbara Nichols will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry McKee officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crain Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
