ST. LOUIS — “Don’t be sad for me, I lived a good life ... live yours,” is what he always said.
Charles E. “Jim” Frentzel, 91, of St. Louis, formerly of Jackson, died peacefully Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home in St. Louis.
Born Sept. 29, 1925, in Jackson, he lived in Michigan and Texas before returning to Missouri in 2002.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Janice Miller of St. Louis; and a daughter, Julie Frentzel of Montclair, New Jersey.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Nathalee R. Frentzel; and a son, James N. Frentzel.
A private burial was held at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.
McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
