Corena Evelyn Nation, 82, of Rockview, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Jackson Manor.

She was born July 31, 1934, in New Hamburg, Missouri, to Leon and Clara Turner Bucher, Sr. Corena and Earl S. Nation were married June 9, 1951, and he preceded her in death April 7, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Steven (Margie) Nation Sr. of Jackson; two daughters, Joyce (Danny) Wiseman of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Mary Sue (Dan) Dannenmueller of Wetumpka, Alabama; two brothers, Ronald (Jan) Bucher of Williamsburg, Missouri, and David (Jean) Bucher of St. Louis; two sisters, Marie (Tom) Polich of Stoughton, Wisconsin, and Wendy Robinson of Bradley, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Bucher Jr.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Kenny Loos officiating. Burial will be at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
