CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Tris D. Wickware, 41, 2209 Melrose Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest by fleeing in the 1000 block of Independence Street.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 300 block of North Frederick Street.
• Theft was reported at Jefferson Avenue and South Hanover Street.
• Theft was reported at 535 Siemers Drive.
• Theft was reported at 2411 Melrose Ave.
• Theft was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
• Motor-vehicle theft was reported at 316 S. Lorimier St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 1114 Jefferson Ave.

Miscellaneous

• Failure to return rental property was reported at Cape Auto Pool, 1238 Meadowbrook Lane.
• Arson was reported in the 1900 block of North Kingshighway.
