WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. -- Mary Louise Oliver Kuhnmuench died Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

She was born Nov. 23, 1921, in Cape Girardeau.

Mary Lou was a graduate of Bloomfield (Missouri) High School and Southeast Missouri State University.

She taught elementary school for many years at Cape Girardeau, Riverview Gardens, Sikeston and Clayton, Missouri.

She was a 50-plus-year member of First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, Missouri, as well as a 50-plus-year member of P.E.O.

She is survived by her children, Ginny (Baker) Kurrus of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sally (Dennis) Feist of Houston and Charlie (Melissa) Kuhnmuench of St. Louis; grandchildren, Madeline (Matt) Moore, Sarah (Philip) Bemberg, Andrew Kurrus, Stephanie (Michael) Lehto, Parker, Jessica and Connor Feist and Elise, Jake and Paige Kuhnmuench; great--grandchildren, Finley Moore and Kerrington Lehto; sisters-in-law, Barbara Oliver of Overland Park, Kansas, and Carolyn Oliver of Columbia, Missouri; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lloyd Eugene Kuhnmuench; parents, Charles C. and Virginia (Hays) Oliver; brothers, D. Arthur Oliver and Charles C. Oliver Jr.; and sister-in-law, Shirley (George) Giessing.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, 100 E. Adams St. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Fruitland.
