Pearl Gipson

Pearl J. Gipson, 78, was born Jan. 20, 1939, in Cascade, Missouri, the daughter of Arley and Opal Myers, and passed away Friday, July 21, 2017, in Cape Girardeau.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Wanda Myers and Kathryn Minch; and one brother, Marvin Basil Myers.

Pearl is survived by her husband, Ronald Gipson, whom she married June 7, 1958; daughter, Denise (Don) Martin of Charleston, Missouri; son, Robert Gipson of Jackson, Wyoming; grandson, Dustin Martin of Herndon, Virginia; three sisters, Betty Moyers of Fenton, Missouri, Carol Mouser of Jackson and Marilyn Braswell of Fruitland; four brothers, Donald Myers of Fredericktown, Missouri, Harold Myers of Fredericktown, Arley Myers Jr. of High Ridge, Missouri, and Kenny Myers of Patton, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with interment at Farquar-Graham Cemetery in Marquand, Missouri.
