KELSO, Mo. -- Frank Croxton Jr., 84, of Kelso died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 17, 1933, in Huntsville, Illinois, to Frank Ernest and Minnie Grace Hawkins Croxton Sr. He married Geraldine Ann McKee on Oct. 27, 1951, in Quincy, Illinois. She preceded him in death Jan. 28, 2017.
Frank had done many things. He trained employees in different occupations, was a farmer, fertilizer-terminal manager and an over-the-road truck driver for over three million miles accident-free.
He coached Little League, led 4-H clubs, taught highway-safety classes and was a volunteer fireman. He was a member of North Cape Church of Christ, where, as a servant of God, he taught both adult and youth Bible classes and served his community.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Croxton of Lake Ozark, Missouri; a daughter, Tammy Roberts of Jones, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane, and a son, Kerry.
A private family memorial service will be held.
