Ralph Edward Bauer, 56, of Jackson died Friday, July 28, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 16, 1960, in Granite City, Illinois, to Venida Ann Bauer. Ralph and Stephanie Stevenson were married Sept. 11, 1993, in Jackson.

Ralph worked in the housing construction trade. He loved to hunt and fish, but his biggest love was spending time with his grandson Kamden.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Stephanie Bauer of Jackson and her family from Thebes, Illinois; his mother, Venida Warren of Jackson; two daughters, Hillary Kate Bauer (Scott Stovall) of Millersville and Austin Brooke Bauer of Cape Girardeau; and a grandson, Kamden Stovall.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ronald E. Warren.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
