Karen Jeanette Hicks, 57, of Jackson died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at the home of her son in Frohna, Missouri.

She was born April 21, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Norman G. and Evelyn Jeanette Kimbel Roth.

Karen attended Perryville (Missouri) High School before working for DHL, formerly Exel Logistics.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

Karen is survived by her mother, Evelyn Jeanette Roth of Brazeau, Missouri; two sons, Gregory S. (Valerie) Bohnert of Perryville and Kyle A. (Daphne) Bohnert of Frohna; two brothers, Daniel K. (Sandy) Roth of Frohna and Paul D. (Carla J.) Roth of Frohna; a sister, Nancy M. (Matthew) Puchbauer of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren, Clayton Copeland, Ethan Bohnert, Laine Bohnert and Owen Bohnert; one great-grandchild, Raelyn Copeland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home-Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family of Karen Jeanette Hicks for her final expenses.
