Cynthia Lynn Koerner, 35, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 15, 1982, in Cape Girardeau to Gary and Gayla Henson Biggs. She and Steven Koerner were married April 23, 2005.
Cindy was a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. She earned her CNA certificate and later earned her Certified Medical Coding certificate from the Career and Technology Center in Cape Girardeau. She worked at various nursing facilities in the Cape Girardeau/Jackson area and was a medical coder at Cardio Vascular Consultants and Southeast Hospital.
Cindy was boisterous, fun loving and the life of the party. She was passionate about caring for babies and the elderly. Above all, she loved her family and adored her daughters, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her loving husband of 12 years, Steven of Oak Ridge; three beautiful daughters, Madalynn, Emily and Abigale Koerner of the home; her parents, Gayla and Jim Anthony of Jackson; father, Gary Biggs of Paducah, Kentucky; a sister, April (Jason) Newell of St. Louis; a brother, J.R. Anthony (fiancee, Whitney Kluesner) of Cape Girardeau; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; a nephew, Samuel Newell; and a great-aunt, Faye Brocke.
A memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will begin at noon Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Karen Nothdruft officiating. Cremation accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Koerner family or Samuels Lullaby.
