Susan Meade

Susan Jane Meade, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Jan. 27, 1950, in Ironton, Missouri, to Lloyd and Dora Pannebecker Helms. She and David Meade were married Dec. 22, 1969, at Bismarck, Missouri.

Susan and her husband David pastored churches for 41 years. Presently, David serves as an associate pastor at Bethel Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, David Meade of their home in Cape Girardeau; two sons, Jonathan (Lisa) Meade of West Plains, Missouri, and Nathan (Jessica) Meade of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Brayden, Grayson and Addilynn Meade, and many relatives and friends.

Her family and friends will gather at Bethel Assembly of God in Cape Girardeau at noon Saturday to celebrate her life.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Phil Roop officiating.

Private inurnment will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
