Michael Boyd Conway, 58, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born June 27, 1959, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Lester Kavanaugh and Ellouise Boyd Conway.

Michael graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1978. He was a purchasing agent for Spartech Plastics in Cape Girardeau.

He was a member of the Cape Elks, Cape Masonic Lodge, Bi-State 4X4 Club and First Church of the Nazarene.

Michael loved all forms of car racing.

He dearly loved spending time with his granddaughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Cain) Kelley of Advance, Missouri; two brothers, Lester (Donna) Conway and Timothy (Lisa) Conway, both of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter, Taylor Jo Kelley; and a nephew, Tyler Conway.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
