BENTON, Mo. -- Randy "Josh" Davault, 55, of Benton passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 3, 1962, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Gary Lee and Dolly Lou Cowger Davault.
Randy was a chief engineer on the Jeffery G. Tow Boat for Marquette Transportation for 18 years.
He was an avid collector and hunter of Indian artifacts. He was a member of several different artifacts groups.
He was a supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness. Randy never met a stranger and would do anything for anybody.
Randy and Amy Eilers were united in marriage on May 22, 2007, at Bloomfield, Missouri, and she survives of the home.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Dolly Davault of Advance, Missouri; his wife, Amy Davault of the home; two daughters, Kali Davault of the home and Whitney (John) Mattux of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; two sons, Zachary Davault and Waylon (Allison) Davault, both of Ste. Genevieve; a stepdaughter, Audrey Rodgers of Advance; two brothers, Gary (Donna) Davault Jr. and Michael Davault, both of Advance; a sister, Teresa Stacy of Advance; mother-in-law, Regenia Eilers of Bell City, Missouri; several grandchildren that he loved very much; a friend, Patty Bickings of Benton, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Revs. Dennis Lowe and Bart Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
