Zeta Martha Seabaugh passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Bollinger County, Missouri, to Christian and Hester Seabaugh Deimund.

She was baptized at Whitewater Presbyterian Church in 1933.

Zeta married Kelly Seabaugh on Nov. 15, 1950. He passed away July 2, 2008. They had three children: Kenneth, LaDonna and Carol.

She belonged to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Jackson for 33 years, where she was very active in the church and school.

Zeta worked 15 years at the International Shoe factory in Jackson and also managed the Jackson Senior High School cafeteria for five years. She also lived in Colorado for five years, where she worked in retail stores.

She moved back to Cape Girardeau and has lived here for the last 25 years, where she has been a member of Maple United Methodist Church since 2002.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Wayne (Crissie) Seabaugh of Colorado, LaDonna Sue (Dannie) Gilder of Whitewater and Carol Deanna Seabaugh of Scott City; five grandchildren, Amy (David) Woodall, Debbie (Billy) Palmer, Michelle (Dustin) Huckstep, Ashley (Dusty) Jones and Dustin (Bailey) Gilder; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Leola Fadler of Oak Ridge and Bertha Grindstaff of McDouglas, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and a very good friend of 25 years, E.W. Robbison.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at noon Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Cooper and Dr. Michael Givens officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maple United Methodist Building Fund.
