Linda Snider

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Linda Jane Snider, 76, of Leopold passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 4, 1942, in St. Louis, daughter of John Chester and Iris Geraldine Eastwood Nanney. She and Ronald Snider were united in marriage May 31, 1959.

Linda worked for the Florsheim Shoe factory as an inspector and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Delta.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Snider of the home; son, Ronald Snider of Chaffee, Missouri; daughter, Lisa Watkins of Benton, Missouri; brothers, Michael Nanney of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Tim Nanney of Jackson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Fred and Tony Nanney.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Danny Freeland and Dan Baggett officiating. Interment will take place in the Crader Cemetery near Marble Hill.
