Weekend shootout injures one person at The Pony

A weekend shootout in the parking lot of The Pony Club, a strip club in East Cape Girardeau, Illinois, injured one person, the Alexander County Sheriff�s Department said.

The injured person was taken to Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, according to the department. An officer said Monday he had no information on the condition of the injured person.

According to the department, the incident occurred about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. It involved two individuals, in different vehicles, who shot at each other, according to the sheriff�s department.

The department said no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
