BUCHANAN, Tenn. � Sharon Lynn Reed, 72, of Buchanan, formally of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Anna Mae Owens Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.

She was born April 30, 1945, in Cape Girardeau to Arlo Massa and Alberta Marie Tilley. She was raised by Henry R. and Alberta Marie Tilley Cole.

She and Charles J. "Bub" Reed were married Oct. 14, 1961, at Cape Girardeau.

She loved scrap-booking, shopping and fishing with her husband. Her grandchildren were so important to her.

Survivors include her husband, Charles J. "Bub" Reed of Buchanan; a daughter, Michele "Shelly" (Marty) Haupt of Egypt Mills; a son, Charles B. "Chuck" (Melonie) Reed of Jackson; a sister, Carolyn "Jeanne" (Ron) Squailia of Cibolo, Texas; a brother, John Massa of LaMar, Missouri; an uncle, Vernon Tilley of Dowling Park, Florida; five grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Koch, Logan Lee Reed, Shane W. Haupt, Haley Mae Reed and Adeline Marie Haupt; and a great-grandchild, Charles Samson Reed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
