CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Samantha Bowen, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
• Sheldon Wren, 28, of Potosi, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for violating a steady signal.
• Ashley Gillum, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear, improper registration and not wearing a seat belt.
• Jamarquian Flye, 22, of Charleston, Missouri, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for improper turn and speeding.
• Christen Turner, 29, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Burglary

• Burglary was reported at 319 N. Frederick St.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 36 Doctors Park Drive.
• Shoplifting was reported at Hobby Lobby, 207 S. Kingshighway.
• Theft was reported at 1932 Rampart St.

Miscellaneous

• Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at 424 S. Spring St.
• Rape was reported in the 1700 block of Cape Meadows Circle.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Jedediah Curtis, 38, of Sparta, Tennessee, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Gerald Jones, 30, of Jackson was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.
• Joshua Powers, 33, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle on revoked driver's license, failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying plates of another vehicle, failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to wear a seat belt.
• Miranda Powers, 39, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants and on suspicion of failure to wear a seat belt.
• Anita Kaucher, 33, of Jackson was arrested on an Arnold, Missouri, warrant and a Jefferson County (Missouri) warrant.
• Cory Sanders, 20, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor.

Assault

• Assault was reported in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.
