Loretta Reynolds

Loretta B. Reynolds, 79, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully, with family by her side Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born May 20, 1938, in Tilsit to Walter and Adelia Sander Meier. She and Lyle Reynolds were married June 11, 1960. He survives.

Loretta was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She retired from J.C. Penney and enjoyed shopping and reading magazines and newspapers.

Survivors include her husband, Lyle Reynolds of Cape Girardeau; a son, Doug Reynolds of St. Louis; a sister, Saundra Reece of Cape Girardeau; a nephew, Brian Reece of Cape Girardeau; and a beloved cat, Molly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Hubert Meier; and nephew, Greg Reece.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas C. Breite officiating. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
