The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Wednesday

• Medical assists were made at 9:08 a.m. on Normal Avenue; 10:30 a.m. on Cape Meadows Circle; 12:05 on Bloomfield Road; 12:30 p.m. on Cape Meadows Circle; 8:37 p.m. on North Main Street; and 11:56 p.m. on Wiliam Street.
• At 5:49 a.m., building fire was reported on North Cape Rock Drive.
• At 7:36 a.m., smoke odor was reported on Brandy Lane.
• At 8:41 a.m., smoke detector activation, no fire, was reported on Anthony Drive.
• At 11:49 a.m., citizen assist was made on South Pacific Street.
• At 4:31 p.m., smoke detector activation, no fire, was reported on Glenridge Drive.
