WARE, Ill. -- Leoda Watkins, 95, of Ware died Friday, June 1, 2018, at Integrity Healthcare of Anna, Illinois.

She was born March 14, 1923, in McClure, Illinois, the daughter James Aud and Ola May Clever Rogers. She and Troy James Watkins married Nov. 21, 1942, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death.

Leoda was a member of the Ware United Pentecostal Church.

Leoda is survived by her children, Donna (Kenneth) Brown of Clinton, Tennessee, Bob Watkins of Ware, Linda Morgan of Anna and David Watkins of Anna; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; former daughters-in-law, Carol and Tina; and sisters, Doris Jobe of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Vivian Moss of Anna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy James Watkins; and son, Mike Watkins.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Danny Jones and Randy Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Lindsey Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
