Janet Sue King, 70, of Delta passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 29, 1948, in Randles, Missouri, to the late Martin Joseph and Mildred Marie McCormick Menz. She married Dayton King in 1965, and he survives of the home.

Janet was retired from Tri-Con Industries in Cape Girardeau. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dayton King; a son, Rocky (Tomma) King of Delta; a daughter, Holly (Lanney) Hampton of Delta; a brother, Jerry Menz of Raymondville, Missouri; three sister, Joyce (Charles) Howell of Delta, Lois Chapman of Jackson and Judy Cobb of Chaffee, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Austin, Ty, Aaron and Allie.

She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Cody King; two brothers, Jack Menz and Marty Menz; and a sister, Kathy Crader.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Conn officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
