Dr. Salvatore Charles "Charlie" Balsamo died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017. Survivors include his wife, Sue Keim Balsamo; three children, Charles Anthony (Ann) Balsamo of St. Louis, Dr. Luke Hodgson (Thao Nguyen) Balsamo of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Charlotte Kathryn (Aaron) Puttroff of San Diego; four grandchildren, Cole Evan Puttroff and Ford Thomas Puttroff of San Diego and Wesley Salvatore Balsamo and Dolores Charles Balsamo of St. Louis; as well as many friends...

Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church in Cape Girardeau. His family looks forward to greeting friends following the service.
