Guy Tapley

McCLURE, Ill. -- Guy Tapley, 55, of McClure passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 27, 1963, in Cape Girardeau to Robert "Bobby" and Mildred L. Wilkinson Tapley.

Guy was a commercial and residential electrician for 31 years.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Guy was a motorcycle enthusiast, loved his cats and fish aquarium. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his father, Bobby Tapley of McClure; brother, Jeff (Colette) Tapley of Cape Girardeau; niece, Tasha; nephews, Dawson, Deacon and Dayne; and many close, longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Tapley, and brother, Kim Tapley.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois, with Pastor Douglas C. Breite officiating.
