Venida Ann Warren, 75, of Jackson died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her home.

She was born Dec. 21, 1942, in St. Louis to Joseph Anthony and Christina Marie Jensen Bauer. She and Ronald E. Warren were married Dec. 1, 1989, in St. Louis. He passed away Feb. 24, 2007.

She was owner/operator of Venida's Village in Jackson.

Survivors include her two grandchildren, Austin Brooke Bauer of Jackson and Hillary Kate Bauer of Millersville; one great-grandson, Kamden Scott Stovall, and one expected great-grandchild in October; two sisters, Mary (Daniel) Grimm and Kimberly (Ray) Springer; and four brothers, James E. (Dorothy) Jockums, Ronald (Pat) Bauer, William (Sue) Bauer and Roger (Jeanie) Bauer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Ralph Edward Bauer; and two brothers Bruce and Anthony.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
