Bob Crites

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Bob G. Crites, 76, of Advance passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Bob was born Sept. 1, 1942, at Advance, the son of Woodrow Paul and Pauline Woodfin Crites. Bob and Carolyn Sullinger were united in marriage on March 3, 1962, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and she survives of the home.

Bob had been the manager of Missouri Industries in Dexter, Missouri. He was also a farmer.

He was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church near Advance, where he was also a deacon. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Crites; a son, Rodney (Sandy) Crites of Jackson; a daughter, Robin (Myron) Minton of Advance; a sister, Debbie (David) Richards of Advance; three grandchildren, Missy (Austin) Hake of Advance, Amber (Matthew) Crites Moseley of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Chelsea Crites of Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Avery Hake of Advance.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Earl Elfrink officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
