Janet Sullivan

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Janet Rae Sullivan, 76, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at her family home.

She was born Sept. 23, 1942, in St. Louis to the late Roy and Myrtle Chappel Steger. She married Bob Sullivan on May 25, 1968, and he survives of the home.

Janet was a retired dispatcher for Chaffee Police Department. She was a member of First Christian Church in Chaffee, as well as Chaffee Ladies Elks.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Sullivan of Chaffee; two sons, Billy Sullivan of Chaffee and Bobby (Cindy) Sullivan of Sikeston, Missouri; a daughter, Robin (Wayne) Dannenmueller of Chaffee; three sisters, Linda Davis, Mary Jo Schwettman and Barbara Leming, all of Scott City; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Dooley; two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at General Baptist Church in Chaffee.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Steve Shepard and Justin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chaffee High School Athletic Department.
