David Griffin

ADVANCE, Mo. -- David Webster Griffin, 71, of Advance passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at his home.

He was born June 27, 1947, in Chaffee, Missouri, to the late John Webster and Betty Elizabeth Russell Griffin. He married Patricia Ann Turner on April 1, 2014, and she survives of the home.

David was a retired maintenance man for Chaffee Grade School and the City of Chaffee. He was a member of Faith Family Church of Painton, Missouri, and First General Baptist Church of Advance. He was in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Griffin; a son, Paul Griffin of Dallas; two daughters, Tina Griffin of Dallas and Vivian Kinder of Benton; two sisters, Carroll Freerksen and Patricia Bowman both of Advance; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a former wife, Nancy Griffin.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Jolliff officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
