Charles Edward Von Doersten, 56, of Kirkwood, Missouri, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 30, 1962, in St. Louis to Ralph Edward and Anne Clardy Von Doersten. He was a maintenance worker for the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Charles Edward Von Doersten, 56, of Kirkwood, Missouri, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 30, 1962, in St. Louis to Ralph Edward and Anne Clardy Von Doersten.
He was a maintenance worker for the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce, Missouri.
He is survived by his father, Ralph Von Doersten of Commerce and a sister, Susan (Bill) Bailey of Commerce.
He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
Donations can be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
