McCLURE, Ill. -- Genevieve Lucille Randol, 87, of McClure died Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Integrity Health Care of Anna, Illinois.

She was born Nov. 13, 1931, in McClure to Earl and Mary Stevens Randol.

Genevieve was a graduate of McClure High School.

She was a caregiver for her mother. She had also been a housekeeper at Southeast Hospital for two years and a cook at McClure Elementary School for one year. For most of her life, she was a homemaker and liked taking care of her cat, Priscilla.

She was a member of McClure Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two brothers, the Rev. Doyle Wayne Randol of Cape Girardeau and Richard L. (Jane) Randol of Canton, Georgia; a sister, Ramona Easton of Canton; and a special niece and caregiver, Nancy Smithey of McClure.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Ann Randol; five sisters; and two brothers.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Smithey officiating. Burial will be at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
