Mark Wesley Scirocco, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Mark was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the son of Nicholas John and Sarah Latreece Smith Scirocco. He was a 1971 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and a 1989 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. ...

Mark Wesley Scirocco, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Mark was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the son of Nicholas John and Sarah Latreece Smith Scirocco.

He was a 1971 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and a 1989 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He worked out of the Craftsman Union and was a published writer. He was a patient ambassador with National Kidney Foundation.

Mark survives through his son, Marcus (Summer) Scirocco of Natchez, Mississippi; daughter, Medina Scirocco; daughter, Sarah Scirocco; son, Jared Scirocco; five grandchildren; dear friend, Leslie Scirocco; and his cat, Larry.

A celebration of life, open to everyone, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shawnee Park, Pavilion A.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau.
