Dianna M. Stone, 73, of Jackson died Saturday, July 13, 2019, at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1946, in Perryville, Missouri, to George and Evla Brown Johnson. Dianna M. Stone, 73, of Jackson died Saturday, July 13, 2019, at her home.

She was born Feb. 1, 1946, in Perryville, Missouri, to George and Evla Brown Johnson. She and Bob "Stoney" Stone were married March 27, 1971, at Cape Girardeau.

Dianna was a 1965 Perryville High School graduate. She moved with her family to Cape Girardeau in 1967 from Perryville.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Crosstown, Missouri. She was involved in the Jackson Schools PTA, when her daughter was in school.

She enjoyed camping, bird watching and looking at flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Bob "Stoney" Stone of Jackson; daughter, Amy (Mark) Powell of Jackson; two brothers, Bill (Joyce) Johnson of Jackson and Ron (Lana) Johnson of Cape Girardeau; grandson, Devin Stone (fiancee, Morgan Heisserer); aunt, Viola Childers of Wood River, Illinois; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Marcia Stone of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Johnson; and brother, Raymond Johnson.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the family.
