PERRYVILLE, Mo. — John Michael Hoffman, 65, of Perryville died Friday, July 26, 2019, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri.

He was born July 8, 1954, in Perryville, son of Glennon E. and Beulah Sandler Hoffman. He and Sherry Camp were married Dec. 31, 1994. She survives in Perryville.

John worked for SEMCO Stone. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was a 1972 St. Vincent graduate.

Other survivors include five children, Kaitlin Hoffman of Perryville, Jared Hoffman of St. Charles, Missouri, Kristen Schnaible of St. Charles, Heather Griner of Georgia and Ryan Delozier of South Dakota; four brothers, Jack Hoffman of Kankakee, Illinois, Larry Hoffman of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Joe Hoffman of Dexter, Missouri, and Jim Hoffman of St. Charles; one sister, Debbie Johnson of Conyers, Georgia; and eight grandchildren, Brody, Tyler and Chase Schnaible, Carson and Cameron Hoffman, Tanner and Lexie Delozier and Carmen Griner.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a service at 7 p.m., at Ford and Young Funeral Home.

Memorials are preferred to live plants.
