CHAFFEE, Mo. — Marie Dooley, daughter of the late Walter J. Hitt and Alice Adkinson Hitt, was born March 1, 1930, in Randles, and departed her life Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at her home in Chaffee at the age of 89 years.

Mrs. Dooley was a homemaker and a resident of Chaffee all of her life.

She was united in marriage to Earl “Kayo” Dooley on Feb. 9, 1949, in Paragould, Arkansas. Mr. Dooley preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Brenda White (Dave) of Chaffee; four grandchildren, David White, Mitchell White (Amy), Grayson Glueck (Tammy) and Erin Glueck; 13 great-grandchildren, Jordan and Lara White, Shelby Lands, Grayson, Maddie and Eli Glueck, Austin, Cameron, Colton and Ashley White, Brayden Glueck, Riley Dicks and Zayne Turner; and by one great-great-granddaughter, Leighanna Rhodes.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Glueck and Janie Dooley; one infant son; one grandson; and also by 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Conn officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
