Sharon Elizabeth Davidson, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri.
She was born Jan. 5, 1937, in Herrin, Illinois, to James Paul and Marguerite Hilda Mortimer Nigra.
She and Rueben L. "Dave" Davidson were married July 25, 1958, in St. Louis. He passed away Oct. 16, 2008.
She graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School.
Sharon had worked at Kmart and Kroger.
She and Rueben loved to fish and camp. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of Church of Christ in Jackson and was very active when she was able to attend.
Survivors include two daughters, Terry (Randy) Werner of Jackson and Connie Davidson of St. Charles, Missouri; two sons, Curtis Davidson and Jeff Davidson of Jackson; two stepsons, Richard Davidson of Springfield, Missouri, and Rick Allison of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
