CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Bob McCall, son of the late Ora Curtis McCall and Edna Alfredia Mae Woods, was born April 30, 1949, and departed this life Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at his home in Chaffee, at the age of 70 years. Bob was the co-owner of Sandy's Toddle Inn for many years, and owner and operator of McCall Masonry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Vietnam War, member of the WarChild Riding Group, and a member of Chaffee Elks Post 1810...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Bob McCall, son of the late Ora Curtis McCall and Edna Alfredia Mae Woods, was born April 30, 1949, and departed this life Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at his home in Chaffee, at the age of 70 years.

Bob was the co-owner of Sandy's Toddle Inn for many years, and owner and operator of McCall Masonry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Vietnam War, member of the WarChild Riding Group, and a member of Chaffee Elks Post 1810.

On May 28, 1977, he was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Hess in Scott City. She preceded him in death Sept. 15, 2018.

Survivors include three brothers, Harold Michael McCall of Cape Girardeau and Frank Anthony and Timothy Jerome McCall, both of Jackson; four sisters, Norma Eileen Robins of Cape Girardeau, Karen Kay Landers of Perryville, Missouri, Sherry Ann McCall of Sedgewickville, Missouri, and Tonya Renee Claussen of Jackson; and also by his caretakers, Terry and Pam Gadberry.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Wayne and Jack Jasper McCall, and a sister, Sheila Ramona Cook.

Visitation was Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
