Anna F. McMillan, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at Lutheran Home. She was born May 19, 1934, in Neelyville, Missouri, to Robert L. and Lillie Vern Rummel Swan. She and Clyde E. McMillan Sr. were married Oct. 8, 1954, in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He preceded her in death July 12, 1995...

Anna F. McMillan, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, at Lutheran Home.

She was born May 19, 1934, in Neelyville, Missouri, to Robert L. and Lillie Vern Rummel Swan. She and Clyde E. McMillan Sr. were married Oct. 8, 1954, in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He preceded her in death July 12, 1995.

Anna's family was very important to her. Her foremost purpose was to be a loving wife and mother.

She was a very talented seamstress and worked at Sides-Miller Men's Store. She was also co-owner of C&A McMillan Trucking.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Guild at the church.

Survivors include her children, Deborah A. (Roger) Carlton of Advance, Missouri, Clyde E. "Bud" (Becky) McMillan Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Lisa K. (Ron) Busche of Jackson; one sister, Sharon (Stan) Schmidt of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Lynn (Rachael) Carlton of Jackson, Michelle (Gary) Brown of Jackson, Taylor (Chris) Brotherton of Cape Girardeau, Jacob (Tori) Busche of Jackson and Garrett McMillan of Cape Girardeau; and nine great-grandchildren, Landon and Cody Carlton, Brianna, Carrissa and Colton Brown, Jude and Nels Brotherton and Oaklynn and Harrison Busche.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Lillie Swan; husband, Clyde E. McMillan Sr.; grandson, Joshua Busche; brothers, Kenny, Charlie and Lawrence "Dude" Swan; and sisters, Helen Rick and Joyce Kain.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be given to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
