Donna Fisher

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Donna Faye Fisher, daughter of the late Gilbert and Ruby Eakins Mabrey, was born July 11, 1950, in Cape Girardeau and departed this life Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 69 years.

Donna was a licensed practical nurse, a member of General Baptist Church in Chaffee and a resident of Chaffee.

In 1989, she was united in marriage to Elmer Ray Fisher in Chaffee. He departed this life May 21, 2019.

Survivors include a son, Randy (Barbie) Buchheit of Chaffee; stepsons, Trevor Fisher of Houston and Chad Fisher of Whitewater; brother, Bill (Betty) Mabrey of Scott City; and grandchildren, Victoria Hollis and Sherman Watson.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Watson.

Donna's wishes were to have a graveside service. It was held Sunday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
