Linda Gail Ervin, 71, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Robert and Katherine Clark Hunter. Linda was a graduate of North High School in Nashville. Linda Gail Ervin, 71, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 11, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Robert and Katherine Clark Hunter.
Linda was a graduate of North High School in Nashville. She retired after 30 years as executive secretary for the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors.
Survivors include her children, Lori Woodney of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Barton Pruitt of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Joyce Kelley and Eva Nolen, both of Tennessee; grandson, Zachary Woodney of Cape Girardeau; son-in-law, Steven Woodney of Cape Girardeau; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert "Bubba" Hunter Jr.; sister, Ethel Crow; husband, Ronald C. Ervin.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
