PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Donald G. Boettcher, 73, formerly of Frohna, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Estates of Perryville.

He was born Nov. 13, 1946, in Cape Girardeau to Cornelius Albert and Frieda Martha Louise Lueders Boettcher. He and Marlies Lilli Stuppi were married July 11, 1970. She preceded him in death Aug. 1, 2003.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, Missouri.

Survivors include his son, Kris Boettcher of Jackson; daughter, Kristina Boettcher of Cairo, Illinois; sister, Dorothy (Neil) Krans of Pevely, Missouri; grandchildren, Kayla and Christopher Boettcher and Johnny Mellenthin III; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Fadler and Lane Dittmer.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Friday at Ford and Young East Perry Funeral Home in Altenburg.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Steven Dressler officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Altenburg.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
