Dennis Agee, son of the late Ellis Agee and Kirby and Charlene Holt, was born June 2, 1953, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed this life Thursday, March 26, 2020, with family, at the age of 66 years. Mr. Agee retired as a floor technician at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He loved playing his guitar and building gadgets in his wood shop for his grandchildren. Dennis Agee

Dennis Agee, son of the late Ellis Agee and Kirby and Charlene Holt, was born June 2, 1953, in Sikeston, Missouri, and departed this life Thursday, March 26, 2020, with family, at the age of 66 years.

Mr. Agee retired as a floor technician at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He loved playing his guitar and building gadgets in his wood shop for his grandchildren. He was affiliated with Perkins Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Menz (Mike) of Perkins, Missouri, Amanda Winchester (Jerry Palmer) of Perkins and Staci Talley of Lowndes, Missouri; three brothers, Derrell Agee and Sonny Agee, both of Peoria, Illinois, and Steve Agee of Sikeston; two sisters, Beverly Young of Morehouse, Missouri, and Karen Lindsey of Sikeston; by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackson and Doyle Agee; one sister, June Cloin; also by one great-grandson, William Tyler Agee, 11.

Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. Monday at Perkins Baptist Church.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, with John Launius officiating. Interment will follow in Perkins Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Agee, Adam Menz, Christopher Talley, Robby Menz, Brison Winchester, Johnny Seabaugh and Kieth Agee. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Schrum and Andy Menz.
