ORAN, Mo. -- Dorothy Ann Borchelt, 59, of Montgomery City, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in New Florence, Mo. She was born July 9, 1941, in Oran, Mo., daughter of Anthony Francis and Mary Geneva Wanger Hulshof. She and Dale Alfred Borchelt were married July 14, 1962. He died Sept. 13, 1991...

ORAN, Mo. -- Dorothy Ann Borchelt, 59, of Montgomery City, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in New Florence, Mo.

She was born July 9, 1941, in Oran, Mo., daughter of Anthony Francis and Mary Geneva Wanger Hulshof. She and Dale Alfred Borchelt were married July 14, 1962. He died Sept. 13, 1991.

Borchelt was a 1959 graduate of Morley High School, received a bachelor's degree in home economics from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree in home economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She was an extension council agent 25 years for Boone, Warren and Montgomery counties.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale and Elizabeth Jean Borchelt of Ninevah, Ind.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Eva Marie and Timothy Myrick of High Hill, Mo., Michelle Dorothy and Finice Bailey of Lacygne, Kan.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Jim Kuss and Alice and Doug Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Barbara and Gary Trankler of O'Fallon, Mo.; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerard and Richie Hulshof of Overland Park, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Bethany, Angela, Stephanie, Rachael and Christopher Borchelt of Ninevah; Deven Myrick of High Hill; and Jacob Dale Bailey of Lacygne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Hulshof.

Friends may call at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery near Montgomery City.
