PAUL KAISER

Paul Wilbert Kaiser, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Oct. 18, 1921, at Friedheim, Mo., son of John and Rosina Schroeder Kaiser. He and Mona Fern Pulliam were married Feb. 5, 1985, in Cape Girardeau. She died Jan. 20, 2001.

Kaiser was a commercial transportation truck driver, and member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He served in the U.S. Army from July 1942 to November 1945.

Survivors include a son, Girard Kaiser of Stockton, Calif.; a daughter, Gloria Kaiser of Cape Girardeau; three stepdaughters, Remona "Joyce" Dunn and Becky McMichael of Cape Girardeau, and Lisa Pulliam of Atlanta, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, and a brother.

There is no visitation.

Private graveside service will be held Saturday at Cape County Memorial Park. The Rev. Douglas C. Breite will officiate.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
