Katherine Brantley, 68, of Ceres, Calif., formerly of Puxico, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 11, 1933, at Snider, Texas, daughter of Boyd and Mary Wilson Fulkner. She and Kenneth Brantley were married June 24, 1953, at Maline, Ore. He died May 31, 1994.
Brantley had grown up in Maline, and moved to Puxico in 1962. In 1997 she moved to California.
Survivors include a son, Paul Ludwig of Lexington Park, Md.; three daughters, Patricia Hon of Emporia, Kan., Pamela Hubbert of Madison, Ala., Kelley Kirkpatrick of Ceres; two sisters, Thelma Search of Lebanon, Ore., Helen Sumpter of Marian, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
