SIKESTON, Mo. -- Douglas E. Still Sr., 27, of Sikeston died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center, from injuries received in a go-cart accident in Bertrand, Mo.
He was born March 18, 1973, in Long Beach, Calif., son of Donald E. and Phyllis Lawson Still Sr. He and Deborah Dodd Alexander were married July 25, 1998, in Sikeston.
Still graduated in 1992 from Sikeston Senior High School. He was a maintenance mechanic for Steward Steel Supply Co. the past five years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Douglas Still Jr. of Sikeston; a daughter, Tammy Still of Sikeston; two stepsons, Kevin and Brian Alexander of Sikeston; his parents of Bertrand; a brother, Kevin Still of Sikeston; and a sister, Sheila Wilson of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Still Jr.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel. The Rev. Jerry Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
