COBDEN, Ill. -- Larry Gene Haney, 56, died at his home north of Cobden Saturday. Haney was born June 7, 1944, in Dexter, Mo., the son of Herbert and Lucille Haney. COBDEN, Ill. -- Larry Gene Haney, 56, died at his home north of Cobden Saturday.

Haney was born June 7, 1944, in Dexter, Mo., the son of Herbert and Lucille Haney.

He was a truck driver and a laborer.

Haney is survived by two brothers, Donald and Gary Haney of Cobden; and three sisters, Mary Moore of Bloomfield, Mo., and Joyce Haney and Lois James, both of Bernie, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Funeral will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden. The Rev. Ken Wilson will officiate. Burial will be at the Cobden Cemetery.

Friends may call on the funeral home after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
