Harris, 96, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at her home.

She was born July 6, 1904, at Wolf Island, Mo., daughter of James and Virginia Spencer Wright.

Survivors include a son, Walter Taylor of Charleston; and a sister, Opal Hayes of Charleston.
