DEXTER, Mo. -- Everett Ray Tuley, 69, of Dexter died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at his home.

He was born Feb. 11, 1932, at Monroe City, Mo., son of Corder Everett and Marvel DeLashmutt Tuley. He and Marilyn Dodd were married Aug. 30, 1952, at Palmyra, Mo.

Tuley had worked at the USDA Soil Conservation Service, and was co-owner of Tuley Farm and Home. He was a member of Dexter Masonic Lodge 532.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, C.E. Tuley of Dexter, Robert Tuley of Shelbina, Mo.; two daughters, Karen Stevens and Nancy Mayer of Dexter; two brothers, Walter Tuley of Philadelphia, Mo., Franklin Tuley of Palmyra; two sisters, Virginia Dickerson of Ocala, Fla., Alpha Greening of Mission, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, a granddaughter, two brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will be in Sadlers Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.
